Let's look at the two years and check out the differences.
They both offer the fuel-efficient 1.6L or 2.0L four-cylinder engine, but the 2021 model is slightly better in terms of gas mileage. They both offer FWD and an automatic transmission with the choice of a manual.
The 2021 Elantra is larger than the 2020 version as far as overall length, height, width, and wheelbase size. The 2021 Elantra features a base curb weight of 2,868 lbs. which is slightly bigger than the 2020 mode's 2,844 lbs.
One big change in the two years is that, while they both offer a gasoline-fueled model, the 2021 Elantra is also offered as a hybrid to accommodate environmentally conscientious drivers. The hybrid version has a 1.6L engine complete and 32KW electric motor that offers up to 140 horsepower.
Many of the available features in the 2020 Elantra are now standard in the 2021 Elantra. This is especially the case with technology and amenity features. These features, which were unavailable or optional in 2020, are not standard in the 2021 Elantra. These include the listed below:
