The role of today's service technician is to inspect, maintain, and repair a vast variety of different make and model Cars, Crossovers, SUV's, Vans, Light Duty Trucks and in some cases Heavy-Duty Trucks and Vans.  Unlike in the past, the newer vehicles all have on-board computer systems that monitor multiple sensors located throughout a vehicle.  A modern day service technician has to be computer savvy as well as mechanically inclined.

Each of our service technicians are manufacturer certified and trained to service all make and model vehicles.  Rowe Auburn also has more Senior Master Certified Technicians than any other Ford dealership in Maine.  We also work very closely with area colleges and we hire their students through what is known as the Asset Program.

As you will see in the pictures below, the service technicians use a variety of tools through out the course of a single work day.  In a few of the pictures you will see some of the awkward positions that a service technician will have to get into in an effort to repair a vehicle.  In other pictures, you can get an idea of the amount of work that a service technician may be required to do in order to access the defective and / or faulty parts that needs replacing.
