Performance

Powering the SE and SEL trims is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that makes 191 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. Moving to the Limited or Calligraphy trim ensures increased power thanks to a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that makes 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The new Santa Fe now offers up a new hybrid engine, which takes the form of a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 hybrid engine that manages 225 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The two gas engines work with an 8-speed automatic transmission while the new Hybrid pairs with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Technology

The new Hyundai Santa Fe ensures a robust selection of tech features regardless of the trim selected. The base trim of the Hyundai Santa Fe includes an 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and a basic audio system. Looking to improve tech features beyond the SE offerings? Jumping to the Calligraphy trim ensures drivers can enjoy improvements like a larger, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a full-color head-up display. Upper trim levels also offer up a 12-speaker Harman/Kardon premium audio system.

Interior/Exterior Features

The Santa Fe provides a very impressive selection of interior features for drivers to consider, with the base offering coming equipped with cloth-trimmed seats a spacious rear cargo storage area, and seating for up to five passengers. Stepping to a higher trim level allows drivers to enjoy features like Nappa leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, heated rear seats, and eco-suede microfiber headliner.

Exterior features available with the new Hyundai Santa Fe aren't quite as numerous as interior features, however; drivers can enjoy ample options. Driver assistance features are probably the highlight of the exterior feature lineup. The Santa Fe offers up blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit assist, parking distance warning (rear/front), blind-spot monitor, and remote smart parking assist. The Santa offers up many other exterior features beyond driver assistance ones, like roof rails, power folding side mirrors, and wheel size options (18-,19-, and 20-inch wheels).
