2021 Changes
The Hyundai Santa Fe is almost entirely redesigned, making sweeping changes to the exterior and interior while making various powertrain additions. The new Hyundai Santa Fe also adds new driver assistance features to help boost driving confidence. Drivers can look forward to new engines at every trim level, with the base SE now being powered by a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine that makes 191 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. Upper trim levels (Limited and Calligraphy) now come equipped with a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that manage 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. Also new to the latest model year of the Santa Fe is a hybrid engine, with takes the form of a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 variant that offers up 225 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.
Calligraphy Trim Level
The new Calligraphy trim level is impressive beyond just its brawny 2.5-liter turbocharged engine. The interior of the Calligraphy trim level includes Nappa leather-trimmed seats, eco-suede headliner, and a unique interior styling scheme. Other notable features include a head-up display and 20-inch wheels.
Interior Highlights
The new Hyundai Santa Fe also makes a splash in the tech realm thanks to a new 10.25-inch infotainment display. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and an available 12-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system. Other interior features of note include heated rear seats, heated front seats, and a host of driver assistance features. Driver assistance features include blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, safe exit assist, blind-spot monitor, and parking distance warning (rear/front).
